The liberal arts division of our college aims to produce engineers of broad horizons.
In order to accomplish the aim, teachers in the liberal arts division teach the students required subjects for general education such as English, Japanese, History, Ethics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Basis of Science, and Physical Education.
English language teaching is especially emphasized so that the students will be able to play an active and important part globally in the area of research and development. Self-learning system for TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) using the Intranet system was up-dated last year. You can study for TOEIC from any computer terminals that are connected to the Intranet system of our college.
Elective subjects such as Introduction to Linguistics, Philosophy, and Psychology are also offered to the fourth- and fifth-year students so that they can further acquire culture.
The teachers make every effort to help the students grow up to be trustworthy and sophisticated engineers with great interpersonal communication skill.
